Put Torrington Back on a Path to Prosperity

“Torrington has lost business to other Connecticut cities for years,” Ivain said. “Under my administration, we will implement an economic development plan that will help local businesses to grow and will also attract new businesses to town. I will not accept that Torrington must continue to have one of the highest mill rates in the state. I believe we can do better and that economic forces demand that we revamp our current economic development capability. We will achieve this by making city hall responsive and efficient, and by working at all levels to get resources for our city, to solve problems, and get things done.”
